SPECD Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how SPECD uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) on https://specd.studio. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data stored by your browser. They let the Service remember things (like keeping you signed in) and function properly.

2. What we use them for

  • Strictly necessary (essential). Required for the Service to work — for example, authentication/session tokens that keep you signed in, and security features such as rate-limiting and abuse prevention. These cannot be turned off without breaking the Service.
  • Preferences. Remembering choices such as your theme or last-used settings.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a small number of product events (for example, that someone started planning a build) so we can see which parts of the Service people actually use. It is cookieless: it sets no analytics cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other websites.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run third-party ad pixels. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide the controls the law requires before turning them on.

3. Third-party technologies

Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies or storage — for example, our sign-in provider (Google), our maps provider (Mapbox), and our hosting. Their use is governed by their own policies.

Payments are one place this does not apply: checkout happens on Stripe's own hosted page, so any cookies Stripe sets for fraud prevention are set there, on Stripe's domain, not on specd.studio.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or be notified). Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using key features. See your browser's help pages for instructions.

We may update this Policy; the effective date above shows the latest version.
